Worktop Fabrication

Granite & Quartz Fabrication:
After you approve the layout at the template stage, your granite / quartz slabs will be cut and polished. Once the large sections are cut from the slab, sink cut-outs are removed and the edges are shaped and polished with your chosen edge profile. Before the finished pieces leave the fabrication tables, a supervisor will test the countertop sections to make sure the seams align properly. The finished countertops will then be carefully inspected to make sure they are completely up to standard. Any further adjustments are made by the senior polisher. Finally, sealer is applied, and the new countertops are ready to be loaded into the trucks and taken to the client’s home.

Solid Surface Fabrication:
The raw materials are stored in giant silos before being mixed together to create the batch. Once ready, the mixture is run through a continuous production line that creates uniform sized sheets. The sheets are cut into uniform sizes, degassed and baked, then quality checked prior to despatch to the fabricator. The worktops are then cut from the raw sheet material using one of our Beam Saws. Once cut to size, any cut outs, rebates, curves or shapes are machined by one of our CNC machines. The material is then passed to one of the trained fabricators to assemble into worktops. Once completed they are sanded, dry fitted and QA checked. They will then be packaged ready for despatch and installation
